Bihar Government Launches Mukhya Mantri Guru-Shishya Parampara Yojana
The Bihar cabinet has approved the Mukhya Mantri Guru-Shishya Parampara Yojana to preserve, promote and develop the state’s rich cultural heritage, including its rare and endangered arts. Under this scheme, gurus will receive a monthly incentive of ₹15,000, musicians will get ₹7,500, and pupils will be given ₹3,000 per month. Talented youths will undergo a two-year training period under their chosen gurus.

बिहार कैबिनेट ने मुख्यमंत्री गुरु-शिष्य परंपरा योजना को मंजूरी दी है, जिसका उद्देश्य राज्य की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत, विशेषकर लुप्तप्राय कलाओं, के संरक्षण, संवर्धन एवं विकास को सुनिश्चित करना है। इस योजना के तहत गुरुओं को मासिक ₹15,000, संगीतकारों को ₹7,500, और शिष्यों को मासिक ₹3,000 प्रोत्साहन राशि दी जाएगी। प्रतिभाशाली युवा गुरुओं के मार्गदर्शन में दो वर्ष तक प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करेंगे।
