Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Inaugurates 1st National Conference of Urban Local Bodies

 

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla formally opened the maiden National Level Conference of Chairpersons of Urban Local Bodies from all States and Union Territories at iCAT Manesar, Haryana. The two-day gathering focuses on


enhancing the contribution of municipal bodies toward robust constitutional democracy and accelerating nation-building efforts. Leaders will share best practices, deliberate policy reforms, and explore collaborations to strengthen urban governance across the country.


लोकसभा स्पीकर ओम बिड़ला ने हरियाणा के मनसर स्थित iCAT में राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों के शहरी स्थानीय निकायों के अध्यक्षों के पहले राष्ट्रीय स्तर के सम्मेलन का शुभारंभ किया। यह दो दिवसीय सम्मेलन संवैधानिक लोकतंत्र को मजबूत करने और राष्ट्र निर्माण में नगर निकायों की भूमिका को बढ़ाने पर केंद्रित है। इसमें भाग लेने वाले नेता सर्वोत्तम प्रथाओं का आदान-प्रदान करेंगे, नीतिगत सुधारों पर चर्चा करेंगे, तथा शहरी शासन को सुदृढ़ करने के लिए सहयोग के नए मार्ग तलाशेंगे।
