India to Urge FATF to Re-Add Pakistan to Grey List

India is preparing to submit a detailed dossier to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), urging the international body to reconsider placing Pakistan back on its grey list.

🔹 Key Details:

  • The dossier highlights Pakistan’s non-compliance with several commitments it made when it was removed from the FATF grey list in 2022.

  • Pakistan was earlier on the grey list from 2018 to 2022.

  • India will cite ongoing concerns over terror financing and money laundering linked to groups operating from Pakistani soil.

FATF’s grey list includes countries under increased monitoring for deficiencies in countering terror funding and financial crimes.
