Union Home & Cooperation Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the EARTH Summit 2025 in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, marking the second edition of this major rural development platform.
The summit aims to strengthen policy dialogue across agriculture, animal husbandry, cooperatives, dairy, fisheries, and allied rural sectors.

Shah also launched 13+ digital cooperative services under the Sahakar Sarathi initiative, designed to modernize India’s cooperative ecosystem.

Key new initiatives announced include:
• Sahakar Taxi – a cooperative-driven rural mobility service
• Cooperative Insurance Scheme – to provide affordable risk coverage for cooperatives
