On June 14, 2025, Maharashtra, Kerala, Bihar, and Odisha signed MoUs with the National Farmers' Welfare Program Implementation Society and PSB Alliance to enhance digital access to credit for farmers.
The agreements will use farmer registry-linked authentication, ensuring seamless, secure, and paperless access to institutional credit via digital means.
These pacts were formalized during a national conference on Agri Stack, a government-backed initiative to create a unified digital ecosystem for agriculture and rural credit.
