On June 5, 2025, the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) issued fresh guidelines to promote clean mobility in the National Capital Region (NCR). According to the new directive, aggregators (like app-based taxi, delivery companies) will no longer be allowed to add petrol or diesel-based two-wheelers and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) to their fleet starting January 1, 2026. The move is aimed at reducing vehicular emissions and improving air quality across Delhi-NCR.
