Explanation (English)

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission was an institution responsible for economic planning and formulating Five-Year Plans in India. It was established in 1950 by the Government of India. It worked as an advisory body and coordinated development programs.

The Planning Commission was abolished in 2014 and replaced by the NITI Aayog in 2015.

NITI Aayog

NITI Aayog (National Institution for Transforming India) is the policy think tank of the Government of India. It was established on 1 January 2015.
It aims to provide strategic and technical advice to the central and state governments.

The Prime Minister is the Chairman of NITI Aayog.
The NITI Aayog works on cooperative federalism and focuses on innovation, entrepreneurship, and development policies.

योजना आयोग

योजना आयोग भारत में आर्थिक योजना और पाँच वर्षीय योजनाएँ (Five-Year Plans) बनाने के लिए जिम्मेदार संस्था थी। यह 1950 में स्थापित हुआ था।
सरकारी विकास कार्यक्रमों के समन्वय का कार्य करता था।

2014 में इसे समाप्त कर दिया गया और 2015 में नीति आयोग द्वारा इसे प्रतिस्थापित किया गया।

नीति आयोग

नीति आयोग (National Institution for Transforming India) भारत सरकार का नीतिगत थिंक टैंक है। यह 1 जनवरी 2015 को स्थापित किया गया था।
यह सरकार को नीति निर्माण में तकनीकी और रणनीतिक सुझाव प्रदान करता है।

प्रधानमंत्री नीति आयोग के अध्यक्ष होते हैं।
यह सहकारी संघवाद (Cooperative Federalism) और नवाचार व विकास नीति पर कार्य करता है।
